I paint one piece at a time, giving each the composition, mood and small details that make a painting feel alive rather than merely accurate.
I take only three commissions at once, so yours gets my full attention instead of a place in a pile. You’ll know exactly what you pay and when: half to reserve your slot, and half only after you’ve seen and approved the finished work.

From first deposit to finished painting, here is exactly what happens and when money changes hands.

Reserve your slot
Choose your medium and size, then pay a 50% deposit at checkout. That holds your place in the studio.

Tell me the story
Within two business days I send a short questionnaire: who or what, why it matters, and where it will hang.

References & direction
We review your photos together and agree on composition, crop and mood before a single stroke.

The painting
I paint and share progress along the way. One round of minor revisions is included, and more are available if needed.

Approve & pay the balance
When you’re happy with the finished work, I send a secure invoice for the remaining 50% plus shipping.

Delivery
Oils are given time to dry, varnished, and carefully packed for the trip. Digital pieces arrive as a full-resolution file.

More than one subjectEach added person, pet or building is +25% of the base price, quoted with you and added to the balance.

Do I need professional photos?
No. Clear, well-lit phone photos work well. If a reference won’t hold up, I’ll tell you and suggest how to shoot a better one.
Can I give a commission as a gift?
Absolutely. If you have a date in mind, mention it before you reserve so I can tell you honestly whether it’s realistic. Oils need extra drying time before they can travel.
How long does it take?
It depends on size, medium and how many pieces are ahead of yours. Ask before you reserve and I’ll give you a realistic window.
What if I don’t love it?
We agree on composition and direction before paint goes down, you see progress along the way, and one round of minor revisions is included. The balance is only due once you’ve approved the finished work.
How do I pay?
The deposit is paid at checkout with major cards, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The balance arrives as a secure Shopify invoice by email, payable the same ways.
