My name is Russ and I currently (and will most likely always) live in New Hampshire (it’s a great state) with my beautiful wife.
I work at an investment firm as a project analyst but I went to school for graphic design and I got my first degree in photography. I know, you can’t tell by looking at this site but I swear that I did. If I stand up in my cube and look around I see a lot people who aren’t doing what they love and have settled for a (seemingly) stable job with great benefits. At least we all have that in common.
My interests lie mainly in the arts. Be it illustration, web design, cartoons, painting, or other digital arts, they all capture my attention. I’ve always loved video games and find them fascinating as an interactive art form. So fascinating, in fact, that I write and seed about them exclusively for Newsvine.com.
I’ve always been interested in the entertainment industry, but since I have a face made for radio I have never thought much more about it. After years of sketching my own cartoons and creating voices for them I’ve finally decided to pursue work as a voice over artist with a focus in character work. Maybe soon I won’t be standing up and looking over a cubicle farm of people settling, but I’ll be standing and looking over a recording studio of people living.
